OEM Mining Supply Forum
The OEM Mining Supply Forum (OEM forum) is an industry association for mainly global multinational companies that service the South African mining space. South African companies are also members of the OEM forum. The main purpose of the forum is to participate in the growth focus of the country and to increase job opportunities. This will be done by engaging with regulatory authorities and local companies.
The OEM Forum provides an industry platform for multinational and local OEMs to discuss and contribute towards a growth economy. Meetings of the Forum members do not conform to anti-competitive behavior. There are no intentions to collude or engage in such activities amongst the OEMs. No discussion involves products, prices, distribution or availability.
Our Members
The membership of the OEM Forum is open to all Original Equipment Manufacturers whose legal ownership and main intellectual property base is controlled inside and/or outside the Republic of South Africa and is manufacturing, suppling, remanufacturing and servicing the mining industry as a supplier. Industry bodies and stakeholders that have identified with the challenges as espoused by the OEM Forum and wish to collaborate may join. Membership is on a subscription basis as per the constitution of the organization.

About Us
The OEM forum is supervised by a management oversight board. The management board members are elected in accordance with the constitution of the OEM Forum. The day to day activities of the OEM Forum are managed by a Secretariat Office. To eliminate the chances of collusion, the Secretariat is independent from the members. We have had engagements with the Competition Commission and our members are scheduled to receive training on Competition Law. We have an Anti-Collusion policy and a competition lawyer is present at our AGMs.
